Literature Review Assignment: Writing Must be based on document

1. Based on your topic & resources from the annotated bibliography assignment and the additional research findings (about 2 – 5 new resources), provide a written narrative that discusses:
   1. What do these studies and other resources conclude about your topic?
   2. What are the apparent methodological strengths and weaknesses of these studies and other resources?
   3. Possibly, discuss what remains to be discovered about the topic.
   4. According to these studies & other resources, what appears to be the most effective method for developing new information on your topic.

   Format/Structure:

   1. Paper Structure: Title page, a brief 3-4 sentence introductory topic paragraph, 3–4-page review of your literature resources, and a well-formatted, hanging indent, & works cited page.
   2. Proofread carefully to eliminate “any and all” errors in spelling, grammar, & punctuation.
   3. The title page and the works cited page are additional to the 3–4-page literature review.
   4. Please use 12-font, Times New Roman, double-space, page numbers, indent the first line of each paragraph (to eliminate the need for spacing in between paragraphs).

      1. The topic sentence, body sentences, and the concluding or the bridge sentence to the next paragraph.
      2. Paragraphs show where the subdivisions of a research paper begin and end to help the reader see the organization of the lit review for this assignment.
      3. Each paragraph should have just one controlling idea or theme (this helps to avoid run-on paragraphs that reach unacceptable full-page lengths).
      4. The final sentence of each paragraph should be a transition to the next paragraph first sentence.
      5. Each paragraph must include a minimum of 1-2 in text citations that reflect the research listed in the works cited page.
