In the introduction,

- Identify the title of the TED Talk you’ve chosen to analyze.

- Identify the speaker’s intended audience, who the speaker is trying to persuade.
- Explain the purposeof the TED Talk; in other words, what is the TED Talk trying to persuade the audience to believe, do, or change?
- Finally, add your essay’s thesis to the introduction. In your thesis, identify three or four rhetorical appeals/strategies that you think are the most effective at persuading the audience.

- Topic Sentence: State a topic sentence in the body paragraph and identify one rhetorical appeal or strategy from your thesis that you think the speaker uses to effectively try and convince the audience.
